Latest Update:

November 20, 2018 8:21 PM

Due to a change in the forecasted temperatures, the pavement markings will now be painted on Friday (23rd) and Saturday (24th). The specifications require the paint to be applied with the air temperature and surface temperature to be at least 40 degrees. Tomorrow's high temperature will not get above 40 degrees as originally thought. I apologize again for another delay, but it will result in a better final product.

The contractor has not painted the pavement markings because cold temperatures have not allowed. The specifications require the paint to be applied with the air temperature and surface temperature to be at least 40 degrees. The contractor plans to paint the road on Wednesday (21st). I apologize for the delay, but it will result in a better final product.

As planned, Shellsburg Road is now open to two way traffic. As a reminder, the intersection is now an all-way stop condition. The entire project should be complete by November 16th if the weather cooperates.
