Pre-registration will end on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 5:00 PM.

Absentee Voting Information


Please use this link to download an absentee ballot request form. See our mailing address below.

The last day the Election Department may send out a ballot is Friday, October 29, 2010 at 5:00 PM.

Ballots mailed back to our office must be postmarked by Monday, November 1, 2010.

In-person, absentee voting will be available at the Election Department from September 23 to November 1.  Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Election Department will also be open on Saturdays, October 23 & 30 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Satellite Voting Locations


A petition requesting a satellite absentee voting must be filed no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2010. Iowa Code Section 53.11(2)(a) One hundred (100) signatures from eligible electors are required.
