Prairie Oak Lodge - Squaw Creek Park


Wakema Lodge - Wakema Park
The Linn County Conservation Department is pleased to offer FIVE  lodges in three different parks located around the county. Generally, lodges are enclosed facilities with the following similar amenities: kitchen area with refrigerator, stove, sink(s), microwave and limited countertop space; tables and chairs; interior men & womens restrooms; electrical outlets; fireplace (specified amounts of wood provided); and, exterior picnic tables and cooking grills. Each lodge facility also has special features - both inside and outside. Please note that we have NO AIR-CONDITIONED FACILITIES. Four lodges are available on a year-round basis, and have either in-floor heat (Horseshoe Falls & Prairie Oak), or a forced-air furnace (Woodpecker and Red Cedar). Wakema Lodge is available during the warm recreation season (April 15 - October 15), and has a stone fireplace for limited heating.
