Receive and place on file Recorder’s Quarterly Report for the quarter ending June 30, 2010.

Receive and place on file the Treasurer’s Semi-Annual Settlement Report from January 1, 2010 – June 30, 2010.

RESOLUTIONS

Resolution approving Hynek Farm First Addition, Minor Boundary Change Case MBC-13-08.

CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS

Authorize Chairperson to sign Administrative Services Agreement with Wellmark for the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program.

Authorize Chairperson to sign #6 Amendment to the SSBG County Contract Number MHDS 09-086, effective as of August 13, 2010, between the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Linn County Board of Supervisors.

Award bid and authorize Chairperson to sign purchase order to Metal Culverts in the amount of $10,248.00.

Award bid for rock as follows: Seven Hills Road, Pool Road and Wilde Road to Wendling Quarries in the amount of $83,280.00; Prairie School Road to C.J. Moyna in the amount of $24,375.00.

Presentation of Rebuild Iowa Office volunteer awards.

Public Hearing and Resolution Approving Proceeding with the Issuance and Sale of not to Exceed $1,500,000 Aggregate Principal Amount of Midwestern Disaster Area Revenue Bonds (Progressive Agricultural Services, Inc. Project) Series 2010, of Linn County, Iowa, and related matters.

Discuss condition of Linn County gravel roads.

Discuss and decide on Linn County becoming a co-applicant with the City of Cedar Rapids for a Highway 100 expansion bridge project on a Tiger II grant application, authorize chair to sign application on behalf of Linn County and authorize submittal of grant application.

Discuss and decide authorizing Chairperson to sign resolution setting public hearing to convey by quit claim deed portions of the vacated Wilmont Street and Green Way and portions of the vacated alleys adjacent to Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 4 Town of Paddington, to Tim and Sonya Robertson.

Discuss and decide on installation of steel security screens by WDSI Inc over 9 window units in the Correctional Center for a total of $87,800 using 60/40 funds.

Discuss and decide on printing “About Your Property Tax Bill” informational piece to be inserted into property tax bills at a cost of $1,766.44 to Allegra Print & Imaging, to be split with the Linn County Treasurer.
Decide on approval of a resolution committing to local funding for the Linn County Courthouse and Linn County Correctional Center and authorizing the submission of I-JOBS II grant applications for the Linn County Courthouse and Linn County Correctional Center.
Decide on approval of a resolution for the sale of property located at 303 – 2nd Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Witwer Building).
Discuss and decide on property tax abatement for a parcel owned by the City of Palo.

1. Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center Construction Project --
a) Discuss and decide on project budget and funding sources.
b) Discuss and decide on “award of contract” to a general contractor.
c) Discuss and decide on contracts direct to owner with Siemens for fire system, card access system, security
camera systems and building automation controls.
d) Discuss I-JOBS and County construction site job signs.
2. Juvenile Justice Center –
a) Discuss and decide on contract for construction testing.
