After evacuation of the jail, due to the recent flood, the Correctional Center is currently unoccupied. Inmates have been relocated to other nearby locations, to include: Anamosa Penitentiary, Oakdale (IMCC) Prison, Jones County Jail and the Larry Nelson Center. If you need to locate a prisoner that is in our custody, call 892-6300 for information.

The Linn County Correctional Center is located on Mays Island directly behind the Linn County Courthouse, on the 3rd Avenue Bridge in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Since there is no public parking located behind the Linn County Courthouse, you will want to park on the 3rd Avenue Bridge (an eastbound one-way street, with parking meters).
