How do I qualify for the military exemption?
| ANSWER
You must have served active duty in the United States military during one of the periods listed in the State Code of Iowa. You must be separated from the military, you must be honorably discharged, your discharge document (generally form DD214) must be recorded in Linn County, Iowa, and you must be a resident of Iowa.
