Linn County to Offer Free Surplus Office Furniture to Non-profits

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — Linn County will offer surplus office furniture to area non-profits free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday, May 27 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. in the former garden center next to the loading dock of Linn County West, 2500 Edgewood Rd. SW in Cedar Rapids.

The furniture includes desks, chairs and file cabinets. Non-profits will be responsible for providing their own transportation for the furniture. The furniture will be free to area non-profits; however, they will be required to show their current IRS Form 990.
