Health Services

Clinical Services at Linn County Public Health provides a wide variety of health services to the public. These services are separated into three functions: Clinical Services, Communicable Disease Investigations and Chronic Disease Management.

Below is a short description of the services provided by the Clinical Services team.

Clinical Services

Communicable Disease

  • Provides medical case management for families and close contacts of persons with active tuberculosis
  • Evaluates reported communicable diseases to determine the risk to the public and to minimize the spread of the disease
  • Notifies persons suspected to be in contact with reportable communicable diseases
  • Investigates food-borne and water-borne illness complaints received by the department
