The project was bid on March 2, 2021 and was awarded to Taylor Construction, Inc. of New Vienna, Iowa for a cost of $35,016.00. The project consists of repairing the timber bridge on Austin Road over East Indian Creek. The contract specifies a completion date of April 16, 2021. This means the contractor must complete the work on or before that date. Once started, the project will take approximately 2-3 weeks for completion. The contractor has not provided a start date at this time. The road will be closed to all traffic during construction.
