The Options of Linn County Day Habilitation Program was awarded a three-year accreditation, the highest level of acceptance, from CARF International (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers.
In the accreditation notice, CARF International noted, “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation indicate an established pattern of conformance to standards.”
“We are so pleased to receive this accreditation,” Options Director Jim Fox said. “Accreditation demonstrates that Options of Linn County has opened its service delivery and business processes to outside scrutiny to improve the quality of our programs and is official recognition that our organization is guided by internationally recognized service standards and best practices. This accreditation was made possible by our caring and experienced staff that embody the quality and high standards of service each day.”
According to the CARF website, CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
