LINN COUNTY, IA  March 30, 2020 – For the health and safety of the public in reducing the spread of COVID-19, Linn County Conservation has temporarily closed all outdoor restrooms within its parks, trails, natural areas, and preserves.  Playgrounds at all parks remain closed.  However, other outdoor areas such as trails and open spaces managed by Linn County Conservation remain open to the public.

Areas managed by Linn County Conservation are found at PARKS at LinnCountyParks.com. Please maintain social distancing standards: a minimum of six feet between you and other patrons. Avoid areas if becoming crowded. Also, continue to wash hands with soap and sanitizer.  Linn County Conservation has a long standing carry in-carry out policy, so please take with you any trash that is brought into our areas. Linn County continues to take a number of steps to provide timely and accurate information to residents regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and response. Find out more at LinnCounty.org
