The Linn County Conservation Board is now holding a virtual open house to share preliminary project concepts of a future modification project for the Pinicon Ridge Park Dam. The dam, located on the Wapsipinicon River just east of Highway 13 in Central City, has surpassed its expected 50-year life.

Videos and graphics have been produced not only to detail the concepts, but to address areas of concern and interest. They include:
The Linn County Conservation Board, with all these goals in mind, has been studying the issue for several years. A similar input session was held in 2017 where the public provided their outlook on the dam and its future for the region.
The Pinicon Ridge Park Dam Virtual Open House can be attended by visiting LinnCounty.org/PiniconRidgeDam. The site will remain active until July 24. Website visitors are also encouraged to take a public input survey available for additional information for the Conservation Board to review.
