Join Naturalist Chuck Ungs and others on a scenic float of the Wapsipinicon River. The float is scheduled near the peak of the leaf change to enjoy all the season has to offer us. You will also be treated to unique views of Pinicon Ridge Park as well as the Mary Lundby Bridge from the Wapsi. We will have a chance to view a wide variety of wildlife from the river. Participants are responsible for bringing their own boats, gear and must wear their mandatory lifejackets. Arrangements can be made to use a very limited quantity of gear by calling 319-892-6485. Pack plenty of water, sunscreen, a lunch or snacks, and dress for the weather. Very limited group size due to Covid concerns, wear masks as needed and bring hand sani for your groups use.

The auditor's office can accept absentee ballot request forms to have a ballot sent by mail. The first day ballot can be sent by mail is October 5th. The last day to request a ballot by mail is October 24. The absentee ballot request form needs to be in the office by 5 p.m. on October 24th.
